I have an iMac 24" 2.33 ghz (about 2 months out of the box) and when I move the mouse across the center of the display- the screen shifts over a few pixels. Has anyone heard of or had this problem?

Re: iMac 24" Screen Problems?
Mon, September 3, 2007 - 7:41 PMI just bought the new 2.8GHz 24-in. IMAC and the screen is 96.8F degrees at the top and counting. Is this normal? Further, I have one pixel that is magenta, should I return it with that one bad pixel or am I pixelated? -

Re: iMac 24" Screen Problems?
Mon, September 3, 2007 - 7:56 PMYes, they get hot. My GF has one of the old titanium ones from years back and that thing gets 120 degrees + and starts burning legs if it's topping a lap.
And yes, if it's brand new and has pixel problems, it should be returned. Good luck. -

Re: iMac 24" Screen Problems?
Mon, September 3, 2007 - 8:29 PMThank you AnathemA. I thought when they said Apples were HOT! that they were only talking overall about the brand. At least when it gets cold in the winter I won't have to worry about heating.
And that one little dot. Damn. Does it mean it is going to get worse?
