I live in Arizona, so I don't do DST. But I don't know how to tell my iPhone that. Does anyone know?

Re: My iPhone thinks I've sprung forward!
Sun, March 13, 2011 - 12:55 PMDid you ever put your timezone in? It should know better, since DST is only observed on Indian Reservations in AZ.
Do this:
* Launch the Settings app
* Go to "General"
* Choose "Date & Time"
* Turn off "Set Automatically"
* Check your Time Zone. What's it set to? -

Re: My iPhone thinks I've sprung forward!
Sun, March 13, 2011 - 1:08 PMThat was odd. I did as you said, and it was set to Phoenix. But as soon as I turned off "Set Automatically," it changed to the correct time, and when I turned "Set Automatically" back on, it stayed at the correct time. So apparently all it wanted was a little attention. :)
Thanks so very much, Jory. As always, you're awesome. :) -

Re: My iPhone thinks I've sprung forward!
Sun, March 13, 2011 - 2:15 PMThere may be a glitch with alarm clock apps, though. Be careful to double-check accuracy if you rely on them to get up for work. -

Re: My iPhone thinks I've sprung forward!
Sun, March 13, 2011 - 2:26 PMGood point Rev, as I know the carrier clock to slip up to 1/2 hour. Vodafone in Oz use to take it off a standard PC for the whole network. I would hope most would be using at least a GPS clock, if not atomic. -

Mon, March 14, 2011 - 3:01 PMYou'd think that with all the time-based bugs, they'd have re-written that code by now. -
