About a year ago, I used a program to rip music off someone else's I-Pod and onto my computer. I'm at a loss to remember the name of said program. Anyone know of one I can use for such a project?

Thanks!

    if you google it.... you will find some free ones and some pay ones....

    some work by making the files appear on the desktop,

    others give you an interface to copy across Volumes...

    I can't remember the ones I used a few years ago, but some of the free ones work great.

    macupdate.com

    and versiontracker.com

    let you search...

    When you connect the IPod you should get a screen with options. Check Enable Disk use. The IPod will mount as a volume which can be used as a regular disk. OTOH, since it is an 'alien' IPod wrt to your Mac maybe this won't work.

    iPodDisk is the app I use. It provides a hack for SMB that mounts the iPod on your Desktop and provides all the music in the categories you are used to seeing them in on your iPod! Very clever and quite handy.
