Okay, so when i watch videos on flash players and the download stalls, the video resumes where it stopped.
when I watch on quicktime, I've noted that a stall or stutter in playback picks up at the clock time of where it should pick up. So a 5 second stall in a countdown might play as: 10, 9, 8 .....3, 2, 1.
Does anyone know of a way to get quicktime to pick up stalls where they left off rather than to be slaved to the system clock?

i think one can do it under Quicktime® Preferences :
Choose small , medium or large for your buffer size depending on what works best
i'll just drag the little blue Quicktime® sideways tri angle back to the beginning sometimes to let it load fully first
Do you use D S L , dial up or wi - fi ?
Macromedia's Flash® is losing out to Sun's Java® in my humble opinion
They are a l l memory , bandwidth , and V R A M intensive applications and programs
i use the Widget iStat Pro® to help figure out where my bottle necks are •
