I have a 17" PowerBook (non-Intel), so I can't use BootCamp
There are two sites that I have to use for work and neither Safari or Firefox work.
Anyone?

When you have Safari open, one of the menus across the top is called Develop. Click on it to show its contents and select User Agent>Internet Explorer 7 -

Re: Internet Explorer compatible browser on OS X?
Thu, August 7, 2008 - 7:35 PMYou have to have enabled the developer tools to see it however. Thus (I suspect) the 'huh?'.
"To display the Develop menu in Safari 3.1 or higher, select the checkbox labeled "Show Develop menu in menu bar" in Safari's Advanced Preferences panel." -

Re: Internet Explorer compatible browser on OS X?
Fri, August 8, 2008 - 9:18 AMAnd for earlier versions, you simply have to enable the Debug menu. This can easily be achieved by doing this:
* Quit Safari
* Launch Terminal.app (found in /Applications/Utilities/)
* Paste this line of text and hit [ENTER]:
defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDebugMenu 1
* Launch Safari and the Debug menu should be present.
