HI there!
Well, for a long time now I have noticed that on certain peoples' profiles I get white boxes in p lace of what I imagine to be video clips..
If it's a youtube clip I have no problem getting it. I'm not really sure what's in these white boxes truth be told.
I use Safari 3.1.2 I get all the updates..but I am still using tiger 10.4.11 system.. perhaps this is the problem.
I'm just wondering if there is a plug-in that I'm missing. Must I really use Firefox to circumvent these white boxes..will Firefox help?
Soon-ish I will update my system so perhaps at that time this problem will be resolved.
Any ideas on a temporary fix?

Here is an example of a profile that at the top and throughout I get just white boxes..when I open that Video (?) module of profile. -

Do I really need flash to see youtube links..on some profiles the youtube links work just fine.. on others I just see a white box.

Wed, September 17, 2008 - 9:18 AMI'm wondering whether or not the right link has been inserted for Tribe to pick up on the fact that it is a YouTube vid. There's a "link" URL and an "embed" URL on a normal YouTube page. I recall having some problem with this when I first tried to put a YouTube vid on my profile....
Just a thought.
